- Step 1 - Inspection, Needs Analysis, and Proposal Generation: Our team will provide a detailed proposal outlining all the details of our commercial air duct cleaning process and itemized pricing using our propriety proposal-generating software, Duct Shield.
- Step 2 - Pre-Cleaning Project Management Meeting: Our Project Team Leader will meet with you to review the scope of your project. They will complete a walk-through and describe each step of our HVAC cleaning process. We will work with you to determine the sequence of cleaning each system and coordinate with the work of other activities and trades. If you have a larger project, this meeting may happen before the day of the project. For small projects, this step happens on the day of the cleaning.
- Step 3 - Assessment by Air System Cleaning Specialist: One of our NADCA-certified Air System Cleaning Specialists will be responsible for overseeing the entire project. Prior to beginning our work, we will assess the condition of your heating and cooling systems to determine the proper engineering controls, tools, equipment, safety measures, and HVAC cleaning products and methods necessary to complete the job. We will access your ductwork system through new service openings or existing ones, allowing safe access and deep cleaning throughout specific components. When possible, we will work through existing service opens. Our team performs HVAC system cleaning and air duct cleaning based on ACR, the NADCA Standard. We will clean the HVAC parts by employing an agitation device to dislodge contaminants from HVAC component airside surfaces and then capture contaminants with a vacuum collection device. We will clean blowers, fan housings, ducted plenums, scrolls, blades, or vanes, shafts, baffles, dampers, and drive assemblies. We will also clean heat transfer coils, fans, condensate pans, drains, and similar non-porous surfaces in conjunction with mechanical methods as described in ACR, the NADCA Standard.
- Step 4 - Visual Telescoping Camera Inspection: Our specialist will conduct a visual inspection of your porous and non-porous HVAC system component surfaces to confirm that your HVAC system components are visibly clean as defined in ACR, the NADCA Standard. We will offer you a digital copy of the video camera inspection to verify that the system is clean.
- Step 5 - Apply Disinfectant Treatment (optional): To further protect against bacteria and viruses that typically live inside the HVAC system, our team will apply a botanically safe disinfectant treatment to your system that kills microbes.
